THE BENEFITS OF BINCHOTAN
The Koreans and the Japanese have used Binchotan charcoal in skincare for centuries to naturally detoxify, exfoliate and moisturize skin. Binchotan charcoal is activated by burning oak branches at extremely high temperature (1,598 to 1,832 °F) for a few days and rapidly cooling them with white ash.
It’s best at controlling sebum production, de-clogging pores, and reducing acne-causing bacteria, due to its ability to absorb toxins and unwanted buildup in the skin.
